Greb was 160-168lbs and Mayweather was 130-150lbs.

I don't consider Greb's era to be very good because boxing skill was unrefinied in this time. On top of that black boxers were generally discriminated from in being able to compete and being able to get fair decisions. Greb was fair to give black boxers a shot and he lost to 2 of the best of them in Kid Norfolk and Tiger Flowers. Tiger Flowers, according to all the press was robbed against Mickey Walker.

Back then there was no world champions. There was only white champions and black champions. You can't be a world champion if you're only the champion over one race

Ok, if you say that Hatton wasn't easier for Floyd at 140 than 147 you definitely have a point. A lower weight class shouldn't favour the guy who's going to be bigger in the ring.

Stop talking out you're ass. Burley offered to fight Robinson for free. Burley offered him out on that basis and Robinson turned it down. Burley is the ultimate man. Robinson is a fraud

They both had very different careers.

You can’t do like for like comparisons.

    It’s impossible.

They were both truly great fighters.

Floyd was obviously much more dedicated, and Toney fought almost twice as many fights and took many more risks.

Floyd would have lost more rounds had he have followed Toney’s path.

No, offering SRR a fight 12 days after he's scheduled to fight LaMotta isn't really a confident play. It seems a bit like making an offer you know is going to be refused so you can say you made the offer.

The main argument that could be made against rating Floyd at number one (or among the sport's Pillars of Heaven) is that there isn't a single defining win on his resume that doesn't come with an asterisk attached to it. To be fair, it's tough to say that about a lot of fighters, but since we're venturing into exceptionally rare air when it comes to separating the best from the very best, these things matter.

Insanity. His left hand alone looks spectacular. Overall a terrible night to face. Your statement is jus foolish.

    This is objectively false.

Jake LaMotta and Carmen Basilio look excellent on film. Sammy Angott and Fritzie Zivic do too. Fullmer, Mims, Turpin and Olson are others of the top of my head. He never beat Giardello or Maxim, but there's another two who look excellent on film.

Seriously? The Burley fight was instead of Lamotta not 12 days after. Robinson prefered the Bronx Punchbag.

I'm going to look out for any of you to call ducking about anyone in the future to use this against you

"If I coulda' got my shot, I wouldn't have risked it fighting someone like Ray" - Burley

Yeah mate, I can tell by your name, you're the peak of objectivity when it comes to Burley. Robinson was no fraud, frauds don't fight Jake LaMotta 6 times whilst the smaller man.

All of them look like ****, bar Turpin, he was decent. Lamotta was ****, Basillio was ****, Angott was shitt, Zivic was ****, Fullmer was ****, Olsen was ****. The whole period was a reality TV show where they put a shitty white boxer against a decent black boxer to get better ratings.

Who wasn't ****? Burley! So he ducked him

This isn't a racial thing because Wlad and Calzaghe are great but America was racist as **** right then so they needed all the shitty white opponents they could get regardless how bad they were.

LaMotta looks terrible on film? What am I reading? Seriously?

I think that you have very hard time understanding what you see without colors...
