Ive met Gemma and she is neither vile nor a lunatic. For years she was a star journalist ,winning awards for exposing corruption in this corrupt little banana republic. Feted by the establishment. Unfortunately for her she got a bit too good at it for her own good. Doorstepping our police commissioner was the last straw. She had to go. Now me and Gemma don't see eye to eye on everything, and that's not just because she's only 5' 2"! (for one thing the whole "imaginary friend in the sky " thing is a bit much for my taste). But believe me her heart is In The right place. She doesn't need the hassle. She could be sitting in a villa on the Amalfi coast sipping a nice vino reddo. She is a wealthy lady. She has won every single court case she has ever contested against the corrupt establishment here in our rotten little banana republic. That should tell you something. She could be off somewhere having a very nice life. By all means get angry. Get very angry. But not at Gemma. She isn't the enemy here. By focusing your attacks on here you are doing exactly what the real enemy want. But , hey, if you want to be a Christmas-loving turkey you carry right on my man... If you want to ...you know.... actually discuss this ( as opposed to just hurl abuse) then by all means start a thread about it in the lounge which is the appropriate place for it. I won't hold my breath...
I used to believe the RTE and Irish Times corrupt smear campaign on her before I realised she a real journo with the public's best interest at heart. She has a thirst for exposing these nakedly corrupt bureaucrats in government and I couldn't be happier she's the one keeping them on edge.
A surprisingly refreshing attitude in what is assume is a young (under 35) Irishman! Unfortunately your view isn't shared by a few more people. But the Irish ....the Christmas-loving turkeys that we are....just can't shake off a bad case of Stockholm syndrome. They would prefer to find fault with Gemma's splinter than the establishment logs! The mainstream media ( such as the Irish Times newspaper etc ) are completely corrupt in Ireland. Hand in glove with the corrupt elite. One hand washes the other etc. The likes of Gemma and John Waters are journalistic dinosaurs, relics from another era, when journalists challenged the regime, asked the tough questions, and followed up on the tough storylines. Sickening to see smug teaboy Harris being " interviewed" by blonde bimbo Claire Byrne, her soft pedalling all the way, him knowing there will be no uncomfortable questions. Sickening.
You wanna know how I know she threatened the establishment in particular? Their favourite word was used to smear her, racist. Never saw evidence of such beyond idiots on Twitter who think anyone right of communism is a fascist white nationalist.
Once again a surprisingly enlightened attitude. Yeah the r-word is the last resort of those who cannot stand up their argument. I've been the recipient of similar silencing and censorship.
Haven't we all, anyone who isn't afraid to say that certain cultures are better than others or worth maintaining is now considered a racist by these fools. Needless to say they're often reflections of their own bigotry of low expectations.
Guess what clowns, the Irish and our culture have been put down for Millennia by Britain , but sure look maybe they were right listesnting to you pair of gombeens. Idiots and your high horse. "Our culture is better than yours" id say your a pair of 40 year old virgins who live at home with Mammy while drawing the dole.
https://www.*******.com/andy-lee-fooled-tyson-fury-hardest-worker-ive-seen--148205 Andy Lee off to a great start as a trainer saying tyson fury is the hardest working fighter he's seen. That's right up there with his "Callum Smith beat John Ryder" line a while back. At least he's consistent ...
Once again moorser ...If you want to ...you know.... actually discuss this ( as opposed to just hurl abuse) then by all means start a thread about it in the lounge which is the appropriate place for it. I won't hold my breath...
A retired butcher runs a boxing club in Rathkeale Co Limerick . He trains boxers from both the settled and traveller's communities. Rathkeale is a dying town where most of the buildings are empty. The boxing club is one of the few places where you are not defined of being a traveller or being from a settled community . The club is a huge success and alumni include Irish Elite SHW Champ Martin Keenan. This content is protected
