Arroela was a late replacement for Povetkin who popped dirty.

Vittali plucked unranked Briggs out of obscurity and gave him a title shot. Why?
Vitali fought unranked Timmo Hoffman instead of rematching Byrd. Why?

Man I miss the edge of the seat battles v Eddie chambers, povetkin, pianeta and wach. Or sosnowski, Briggs, kingpin or charr.

such a shame we can’t witness the build up to these mega fights ever again.

You can keep posting how a 35-year-old former IBF Light Heavyweight champion and Kevin Johnson were WORLD RANKED HEAVYWEIGHTS ... all day long.

If that group was in the current Ring Top 10, I'd throw up.

That was a terrible era for heavyweights. It just was.

    Terrible.

I much prefer Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder, Anthony Joshua, Luis Ortiz, Joseph Parker, Dillian Whyte, etc., any day of the week.

    I can't believe you're actually arguing this.

Wlad could be pretty boring, but what exactly was boring about Vitali? People are talking ****. The era was **** due to their dominance, Wlad's style change and the lack of good fighters. This era is EXACTLY the same btw. The quality is low. Too many fat disgraces with low skill.

You haven't rewatched Wlad-Wach or Wlad-Ibragimov or Vitali-Kevin Johnson or Vitali-Albert Sosnowski? And you call yourself a fan? (sarcasm)

I don't think there's a bigger fan of heavyweight boxing than I am. But that era was the worst.

well let’s start from ring top 10 2000-2010

vitali fought - Lennox Lewis - lost , Chris Byrd - lost,

    Kirk johnson- won
    Sanders- won
    Peter - won
    Gomez- won

    not all that impressive tbh

-YES - would have loved it.

    Otherwise - NO!
