García today (or, as of summertime, when boxing may resume at the very earliest after COVID-19 restrictions are loosened) stands on the same precipice as did Khan eleven years ago: ready to step up and challenge for a world title (something Khan hasn't worn since García was 14). Khan, for his part, is mostly hanging around looking to cash out against big names for major paydays (in particular having thrown his name in the hat for the welterweight title sweepstakes, for a crack at Errol Spence's green belt). They also happen to be campaigning two divisions apart - but García is considered a large (and growing) lightweight and so this social media grudge match could presumably be made if he met Khan at 147lbs or maybe a catchweight a little south.

Khan has nearly quadruple as many professional rounds boxed as García. Khan would be giving up 1½″ in height but would enjoy a 1" reach advantage.

Have to say I'd go with the young man today.

Khan ain’t hard to time, and this kid has the speed and awareness to do it. With his power and khans chin, bad things could happen. What weight would it be at?

I would be embarrased if someone that young beat me.

I would say that Kingry violently overthrows King Khan, but that ship sailed a long time ago, countless times, I mean how many times can a king be overthrown before he ceases to be a king?

This would be the last. Without a Spence (or better yet, Pac) cashout there's nothing keeping Amir in the game, I think.

...and losing badly to Kingry erases any chance of a big fight anytime soon (or ever).

Well, there's always a chance if Kell Brook gets dominated by Bud, that match might be back on the table. Although depending on the weight, I have a hard time believing Bud will stop Kell, let alone dominate him, which would scare Amir off again. So yeah you're probably right.

If khan has anything left, it could be close. Khan has survived rds against harder punchers at higher level. And the kid is green as heck. But I don’t think khan has the legs or focus anymore to avoid shots that fast for more than a few rds. I will go with the kid in 5.

Hes older than a lot of guys who have become legitimate champions.

As for Khan, I think Khan is still good enough and definitely big enough to beat Garcia

Garcia has more power, Khan`s KO ratio is far lower than Garcia`s and he always gets caught and has a weak chin, a quick fighter would easily catch Khan.

Brook is easy to hit with the jab, Bud is on another level to Brook.
