I do agree with you, but in the same breath, I genuinely believe if FMJ had a trilogy fight with each of those men, he'd come out the overall victor.

I'd argue Pacquiao could be ranked higher than Mayweather.

A more accurate statement would be that US fighters rarely ever want to travel. Their circumstances are not typically different from non-US fighters.

I agree, also why I feel he now deserves to be rated ahead of Holyfield as the greatest ever cruiserweight.

    Their circumstances are very different.

The majority of the biggest TV networks are U.S. based.

The majority of the biggest promoters are U.S. based.

The majority of the world's best fighters are U.S. based.

The majority of their competition is U.S. based.

The majority of the biggest fights are held in venues that are U.S. based.

This is all over-generalised. The US is the most financially lucrative market for particular fighters in particular weight classes at certain junctures of time. The biggest boxing star in a particular country will often be in a similar situation as the big US fighters - namely that the money keeps them fighting at home.

Yeah but he fought the best guys.
Forget belts, who do you think he should've fought, but didn't fight?

Tszyu and Paul Williams for a start.

Judah, Hatton and Cotto were at their best at 140. Floyd had the frame to move up and build muscle and wasn't having tough fights like the other guys v Tszyu etc.

Chose Mitchell and Baldomir over Margarito... It goes on.

PBF puts a beatdown on Kid Chocolate idc what anyone says on that one.

I can feel some stick coming my way for this one.

The best argument is in order to be the GOAT you have to find another super elite fighter in or around your division. You have to fight him in his prime and then beat that man.

    Floyd never did this.

Duran did. So no, Floyd cannot be considered the GOAT.
