Froch would've beaten Golovkin, right?

We kind of laughed at this all those years ago. Since then it's come to bear that if you can get in GGG's face, he gets really uncomfortable. Basically buckles down into pumping the jab. Froch said it back when we assumed GGG could knock anybody out. That turned out not to be the case. It just seems like a bigger man with a solid chin grinding down somebody who wants to box like an amateur under pressure is a recipe for success.

I'd still go with GGG by a close decision.

GGG knocks Froch out brutally, Froch has worse defense. It doesn't go the distance. I know Froch is a tough SOB but he has been outboxed a few times. I don't think he has the power to put GGG away. Cruiserweight Jacobs was a tougher match up for GGG imo and Froch is very slow. Still a good matchup.

Froch was bigger and stronger with a granite jaw and a long reach.

Froch takes Golovkin's jab away with longer reach and height. You would see Golovkin struggle badly if he couldn't work behind his jab.

I see GGG covering up way too much and not being offensive enough to avoid a drubbing on the score cards.

Only takes a few posts in for Froch or GGG detractors to talk about how they looked when they were over 35. Predictable as always guys.

There's a reason G was willing to go to 168 no catch weight

Froch on points. It would resemble the Abraham fight, although slightly more competitive.

Groves was lighting quick and had good power at SMW.
Golovkin could be even slower and less powerful at 168
