Its beyond doubt that Lennox was not as popular as Bruno but i was in the USA for both fights against Holyfield and he had a tremendous following

If that barn was in London then the dog would be British.

Absolutely, Bowe never wanted to go near him as I think he knows Lewis had too much for him. I honestly think more often than not Lewis would have beat any heavyweight in history (well maybe not Fury). As both were/are supremely talented big heavyweights. As for Lewis, he had one of the biggest punches ever seen to go with it.

Even Haye says it, "hes the only Heavyweight when at his best that I couldn't see an angle or a way I could beat him"..Obviously theres more that beat Haye, but I think most fighters if they are honest would find prime Lewis the most daunting. Size, massive power, fast and a high IQ..

Three phases - Started his career a Canadian, capitalised on being the pride of Great Britain and then finished his career a Jamaican.

exactly, its not about where you where born.

Its about where you think you belong.
The only reason Lemieux jumped back to UK is the money.
Would love to see how much tax that mofo payed through his career to the HMRC

Absolutely I remember George Foreman once said Lewis was the only heavyweight he would have never shared the ring with and if he was American he would be regarded as the greatest ever heavyweight.

When the great started as a pro he was weighing under 200 ib and by the time he fought Frazer weighed 215 ib. Lewis weighed 249ib when he fought Tyson.
