Dwight Muhammad Qawi vs Sergey Kovalev

Qawi is horrible match up for Kovalev, and would quickly realise to viciously pound Kov's body whilst using his awesome defense to avoid return fire and land counters. He has the boxing acumen to really take Krusher outside of his comfort zone and eventually stops or KOs him.

 

If Kovalev didn’t like Andre Wards body shots and inside game ...wait till he gets a load of Qawi

 

Qawi does everything that Canelo did except better, he'll break down Kovalev and give him a thorough beating to an eventual stoppage.

 

BRAXTON WINS BY 4TH RD KAYO. Qawi loses a boring dull decision to the quitter.

I for one said Qawi would stop Kov BEFORE Kov's decline.

I can't think of ANY matchup worse for Kov than Qawi. Just a horrible, horrible matchup for Kov.

Kovalev is simplistic and robotic. Qawi gets in underneath and very literally kills him.

 

Qawi, Mustafa and Marv Jonson are hardest opponents for Kovalev and all of them would defeat him. Writing this like russian guy

Why are people talking about Canelo Kov ?? That fella walked in to the ring a shell.. Hard fight for Kov prime, as he don't like it close. Long range he don't get touched and has good legs/movement. Kov was a beast when he won the title, I defo give him a chance if he was 100% fit

 

It's a bad style match up for Kovalev, but he could win. He hits as hard as Holyfield does and in his prime had good speed, accuracy and power. in his prime Qwai was far from a top boxer, and really wasn't a KO artists. Take note he took many men at light heavyweight the distance.
