Of course he would appear that way, as he got older and with the Parkinson's, his posture changed. He was already hunching over in 1986. Please don't try to make him out as being under 6' 2" as you will be embarrassing yourself. Fact of the matter is, when he was active in the ring, he was all of 6' 3". I really don't understand the mindset of people who seem fixated on this fact.
Yes very true, I just looked at how many top rated opponents they beat individually and Usyk has beaten more of them in their backyards no less. That's why I pip him for the top spot.
Did he really love everyone if he had joined the nation of islam at some point? His hero was Malcolm X who was a racial extremist and the antithesis of MLK's methods of reparation. I don't really think someone who's racist and calls his own people uncle tom if it suited him is the type to love everyone. There's a reason Joe Frazier didn't make amends with Ali ever, the man tried to destroy him outside of the ring, he went way beyond anything acceptable if he really deemed that mindgames. It was slander, libel. Just disgusting. Ali is manufactured by the media, yes he was great in many ways but it is acted like he had little to no shortcomings as a man. The dude was not a very good person, he was a raging narcissist in fact.
Time for me to bow out of this thread as it is becoming infected with closed minded people. Believe what you want to believe, it won't alter the actual facts.
You make a great point. Frazier got buried by Ali’s hateful talk of division, where as joe just couldn’t understand it. especially the Uncle Tom stuff that led to his family being threatened etc
Who cares about one inch in height, Ali was on another planet to Usyk in terms of skill and overall fighting ability, one inch is not going to mean anything.
You just a eastern euro fanboy . While i like usyk i really do and i see his style and volume could present problems to anyone in the division . You are trying to hard trying to say usyk beats ali . You just a eastern euro fanboy . Lol smh the delusion is real
A fanboy pretending to be Somalian for some extremely weird reason, no less. Best to pop this chap on ignore.
Joe was a true man of the people and really believed in peaceful protest. The fact Ali spread the idea that Frazier's leniency towards peace during such conflict was a betrayal of the black people shows that he was no man of peace or of love. Joe took his hatred of Ali to the grave and I really don't blame him. The man was such a confident and showy narcissist that he won people over, even if he was doing something questionable in morality. Granted it's a skill that's worth a lot but it's also a stain on the souls of those afflicted by it. And yes I consider it an affliction.
Actually Usyk is a slightly improved Ali. Beats his opponents more convincingly, does it in their backyards. Takes less damage along the way too. Needless to mention that heavies back then are as big as cruisers today and you, my boy, are in fact talking deep out of the rectal cavity.
How about you stop acting like Ali was a ****ing God walking among men then? Closed minded my ass, we just see past what pinko journos write. The man was the size of a cruiser. If he was 6'3" then why is Foreman listed as the same despite clearly being the bigger man?
