Froch v Pascal was another terrific fight. Scott Harrison v Manuel Medina 2 was a terrific all action fight too.
Sky Sports Action showing replays of some of the greatest UK fights and rivalries all day. For those who have not seen Gomez v Arthur - don't miss this at 7.30 tonight.
Ady Lewis vs Nicky Booth Leonard Bundu vs Lee Purdy Mark Kaylor vs Roy Gumbs Michael Ayers vs Wayne Rigby
It was bizarre ! So many knock downs & non-stop action. I was a huge Sibson fan. His fight with Kaylor was nothing like this, there was more scrapping between the large Sibbo following & Kaylor's West Ham supporting nutters, at a sold out Wembley Arena !
Alexander-Samuels was on the same night as Barrera-Morales I. That was as good a night's boxing as you could wish for. I used to love the transatlantic dual cards that were common back in the 90s. It was far better watching something that was main evening a smaller card, than the same level fight played out in a half empty arena deep on an undercard.
I watched Oscar vs quarty again last night as a random fight. Worth watching again. Massive fight at the time & I loved quarty.
Ye my fav British fight, I loved gomez there was something about him that made u feel proud to watch, he encapsulated that gritty British title fighter of that era, for me.
Of the last few years Buglioni v Burton was an absolute barnstormer..... which seem to get overshadowed as it was on the undercard of Whyte v Chisora 1 which was another barnstormer.
Yep, remember it well, you used to get that a lot back in the day, still happens but not as much. Another cracking night was back in Novemeber 96 the UK card which was free was Benn-Collins 2, Naz and Herbie Hide fights then you went over to the US for the PPV and got Botha-Moorer and Tyson-Holyfield 1 all for £10.
