After not being able to work for weeks the bordom has fully set in, looking for barnstorming toe to toe rows that are worthy of a watch. Know what I know but always open to learn more of boxing history. Suggestions would be appreciated

I could give you a tailored list, but I'd need to take some measurements.

So I have 2 questions, do you mind watching midgets? Black and white?

Colour don't matter man respect any boxer with talent.. always liked middle weight / cruiser get a lot of good fights in those classes enough power to hurt each other but fast hands. Think you know what I'm saying

I meant the colours of footage lol.

    Two MW wars are
Jorge Fernando Castro vs. John David Jackson
Jamie Moore vs Mathew Macklin (although this may have been at 154)

    In terms of modern cruisers:

    Huck-Afolabi I, II & III
    Huck-Lebedev
    Huck-Glowacki
    Dorticos-Kalenga
    Kudrysashov-Makabu
    Kudryashov-Durodola I & II
    Mchunu-Makabu
    Makabu-Bellew
    Makabu-Papin
    Makabu-Cieslak
    Gassiev-Lebedev
    Masternak-Kalenga I & II

Not the highest level fights at the weight, but lots of fun ones.

For a recent Irish bout - Jay Harris vs Paddy Barnes. Was a great short bout. Hell even Rosario vs J-Rock was a great short fight while it lasted.

I consider myself the "ultimate LHW nerd". I don't like to, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little bit proud. :D so here's like 25 fights or so from that weight...

Julio César González vs Julian Letterlough
    Bob Foster vs Chris Finnegan
Saad Muhammad vs Marvin Johnson 1&2
    Marvin Johnson vs Victor Galíndez
Archie Moore vs Yvon Durrele 1
    Julian Letterlough vs Demetrius Jenkins
Victor Galíndez vs Ritchie Kates 1&2
Julio César González vs Glen Johnson
Saad Muhammad vs Yaqui Lopez 1&2
    Elvir Muriqui vs Sam Ahmad
Thomas Adamek vs Paul Briggs 1&2
Yaqui Lopez vs Victor Galíndez 1&2
    Saad Muhammad vs Ritchie Kates
    Eddie Gregory vs Victor Galíndez
    Micheal Spinks vs Eddie Davis
    Saad Muhammad vs Eddie Gregory
Rocky Gannon vs Dominick Carter 1&2
    Merqui Sosa vs Charles Williams
Jeff Harding vs Denis Andries 1,2&3
    Saad Muhammad vs John Conteh

Now, I also happen to like the 147-160 era from the 50/60s, which includes fights like

Gaspar Ortega vs Benny Paret 1&2
Carmen Basilio Vs Sugar Ray Robinson 1&2
    Dick Tiger vs Henry Hank
Gene Fullmer vs Dick Tiger 1, 2&3
Carmen Basilio vs Tony Demarco 1&2
    Gaspar Ortega vs Charley Scott
Benny Paret vs Charley Scott 1&2
Carmen Basilio vs Johnny Saxton 1,2&3
    Charley Scott vs José Staple
Gene Fullmer vs Carmen Basilio 1&2
Gaspar Ortega vs Florentino Fernandez 1&2

You'll hate these if you're against black and white footage.

Finally, I love watching the lower weights since they end up in ATG scraps consistently. A quick list would include...

Myung-Woo Yuh vs Mario Alberto Demarco 1&2
    Myung-Woo Yuh vs Joey Olivo
Sung-Kil Moon vs Nana Yaw Konadu 1
    Sung-Kil Moon vs Carlos Salazar
    Chan-Hee Park vs Chan-Hee Park 1&3
Jung Koo Chang vs Sot Chitalada 1&2
Jung Koo Chang vs German Torres 3
Jung Koo Chang vs Hilario Zapata 2
Jung Koo Chang vs Katsuo Tokashiki
    Antonio Avelar vs Wilfredo Vazquez
    Masao Oba vs Betulio González
    Masao Oba vs Chartchai Chionoi

    Go nuts. :deal:
