Cotto or Trinidad? Trinidad was a bigger fighter, effevescent full of life, known as "titooooo!" He fought guys in heavier divisions even falling short at middleweight. Him and his father were one of the best combos up untill a certain point aka winky wright. But Trinidad was a simpler guy man, he used to ride horses in his home country, he was one guy loved by the people's from pr. Then you have cotto, a little bit smaller guy who fought big. A little bit of a primadonna, but nevertheless a stoic figure. He had the aura of invincibility and he went to war like no other. He was quieter than Tito, always respectful of people but a little bit more serious. My question is, who was the better ambassador of the two, and who was the better champion for the people? Or was it benitez, Gomez, Ruiz or oquendo not to mention Kermit cintron? Your thoughts? Who had the better career?
Tito was a beast, Melon Head Miguel is a cripple crushing hospital raider who won his world titles at 154 and 160 against a one-legged rabbi and a fighter with the knees of a 300 y/o professional cyclist respectively.
It's not even close. Tito is greater, and he had a greater connection with the PR public (although Cotto's natural reserve/introversion can't be held against him).
Tito. cottos revenge against Margarito was rubbish. I wanted him to go out and punish the shell of the man that maybe/maybe not cheated against him. then he goes an nearly punches himself out again and the fight is stopped. Meh. heard he’s a diva too
