    Vitali offered Valuev 2.5 million plus a share of the tv money for a fight in 2009 to unify. Don King said no we want 4 million (Valuev would have made more than this with the tv money but King nixed the deal anyway because well he was Don King and sometimes he made bad business decisions especially when it came to his fighters that have a ‘belt’)

    Valuev then lost to Haye and all the sudden in 2010 Valuev said he wants the fight and Vitali was like why would I fight you now when you have no belt?

    Would have been an interesting fight but I think Vitali would have done a paint job on Nico. I could see it being similar to the Vitali vs Briggs fight a one sided beat down where Valuev goes the distance but is beat to a pulp.

    I remember this happening I didn’t feel Vitali ducked him I felt he let Haye beat valuev to build the fight up between them - it made good business sense at the time
