Any criteria you like: overall talent, willingness of fighters to fight, quality of fights, good for boxing...whatever.

Klitschko era: Wlad, Vitali, Haye, Ibragimov, Chagaev, Poventkin, Peter, Valuev, Adamek

Fury/Joshua era: Fury, Joshua, Wilder, Whyte, Ruiz, Parker, Ortiz, Usyk, Martin

A few tweeners like Chisora, and now-revived Helenius.

You don't have to predict the future. I realize that this era is halfway done. What do you think is best so far.

AJ/Fury era - not because there better fighters, the Klit bros would dominate in this era if they were prime.

But simply because the AJ/Fury era fighters all have some vulnerabilities that makes for more upsets because they all lack some elite qualities.

AJ is chinny but can crack and box to some degree
Wilder is a one trick pony who is chinny but is dangerous
Fury is feather fisted and can be dropped but very skilled
Whyte ain't no stamina and is a brawler and might be chinny
    Ruiz is dangerous when focused
Parker is now on the comeup after loosing
Ortiz is a fake boogeymen that can box very well
Usyk is a slick big man with something to prove

There is some type of angle and drama with everyone of these fighters of this current era which makes for great matchups.

Isn't the era founded on beating a 40 yr old WK? Therefore if that eras 'poor' what does it make this? The fact that a 40 yr old Povetkin, Chisora & Pulev are still in & among too shows that Wlads era was far from the **** show the haters made it out to be..

Quality wise Klitchko era was better, current division is a bit weaker but more competitive and more exciting.

This era far better in every way imaginable. Fury schools any version of either brother, Joshua knocks them both out.

Wladimir Klitschko definitely would not dominate in any era, if he were in his "prime". The guy had more holes than Swiss cheese.

The top guys from 2003 (Sanders, (old)Lewis, Vitali) would beat the HW's today.
young Wladimir Klitscho, Jones Jr, Tua and Toney from 2003 would be competitive

Fury might be a tougher fight for prime Vitali but I think Vitali stopps Joshua

Current era we have entertaining personalities and entertaining fights in the K-Bros era we had neither. Watching Wlad collapse against Brewster and Peter was about close as you'd get to 'entertainment' other than that it was Wlad pawing his way to victory against out of shape C level heavies like Mormeck or watching Vitali pummeling bums like Briggs and Peter.

What we have now is superior in every department - entertainment, depth of talent, quality of fights etc. etc.
