You obviously didn’t see those fights. Valuev easily lost the first match with Ruiz. And they only fought twice. A bunch of guys? You mean, 1. As in Tua. Are you ******ed?
So you admit you were wrong about how many times him and Valuev fought and how many times Ruiz was KTFO by guys on the list I provided?
Ok i would say then that their top 5 is about equal But then again at top level resumé is pretty equal for all top fighters. Its how you perform that sets you appart from rest. Like if you applay for job if you have rich resumé but got fired everytime after two weeks you would not get the job... Aginst guy who had one job but was good at it and serches new chalenges to fullfill his potential.
The gift that keeps on giving, Ruiz's best moment in a boxing ring. And make no mistake about it, there would have been alot more of those if Don King hadn't greased the wheels for Ruiz's illegal tactics. Without King, Ruiz gets bounced off the canvas so many times people would confuse him with a basketball.
Golota should have won that fight, it's one of the worst robberies of the period. Golota outlanded Ruiz, had him on the canvas twice and there was actually a (RARE) point deduction for one of Ruiz's illegal moves. Yet somehow "all the King's judges" gave the nod to Ruiz. Shameful. And yet another example of how a powerful promoter took a mediocre regional fighter and made him an (undeserving) beltholder.
Washington, arreola and stiverne beat sosnowski Washington and arreola beat Briggs. Stiverne would be interesting. Washington, arreola and probably stiverne beat Johnson
At least Sosnowski,Johnson and Washington were on winning streaks and being active,Arreola came from winning in a dubious fight to Kauffman and to tie with Kassi, really very bad, and Stiverne was never a level fighter, and came from 2 years without fighting. The Briggs defense was without a doubt the worst of all
