Washington, arreola and stiverne beat sosnowski
    Disagree
At the time of each defense I think Sosnowski beats them 2 out of 3 at least

Washington and arreola beat Briggs. Stiverne would be interesting.
    Agree

Washington, arreola and probably stiverne beat Johnson
I pick Johnson over Stiverne and Arreola

This is not prime vs prime

Ruiz has the great distinction of losing to two former Middleweights

One of which whose Chin was so bad he got KOed on 3 different continents.

Ruiz was absolutely awful and only got where he was because of his crooked promoter.

We all saw how neutered and bad Ruiz was when he wasn’t allowed to use his illegal tactics like holding, grabbing, wrestling, clinching, and faking low blows. He literally didn’t know what to do it was pure comedy watching this disgrace try and actually ‘fight’.

What matters are the fights before, and the victory to Danny Williams and to Vidoz plus the tie against Pianeta that I gave him the winner make without a doubt the best cv before the fight for the title of the 6

Dont avoid the discussion, which of the other 5 had a better previous streak or deserved more the title in your opinion? I never said Sosnowski deserved the title fight anyway

out of all 5. I would put sosnowski at the bottom. He had only beat 19 guys with winning records in 49 fights before facing vitali.

Briggs was 4 years removed from winning a world title. Beat 3 guys with winning records. Got a shot. Undeserved of course. But at least he had previous at world level.

Totally disagree, you do not know how to argue what you say, just for having been champion years ago he deserves a chance for the title without beating a single known fighter and after 2 years of inactivity
    No way

well do you really think sosnowski who lost to lawerence, then a couple of fights after vitali lost to a guy who had been beaten 60+ times?

sosnowski is the absolute worst defence by a country mile. He wasn’t on a winning streak. Didn’t beat anyone significant in the run up. Both Briggs and sosnowski were awful, but I would fancy Briggs to stop sosnowski. My opinion of course.

I prefer a defense against an active fighter, even if it is not entirely good than against an old fighter who has not fought for years and only has the name
