Bud has never lost and Fury was nearly knocked out by Wilder in their first bout.

I am well aware of Bud’s attributes but what he does better against Spence are arguable and marginal whereas Spence Physical size, physicality, strength, punch power at the weight allied to Bud’s defence being susceptible makes me think this fights swings more in Spence’s favour.

    100%

Floyd is arguably correct though cause a case can be made for Bud(Loma as well) being no. 1 but IMO Canelo edges it based on the level of recent competition. Very little breathing room between the three.

Meh. He's in my top 5 p4p, and if he isn't in your top 10 at least, I think you probably need to get your head checked.

Canelo kind of has to be #1 -- even though I hate his guts and think Oscar bribed the judges for his major wins.

I'm actually surprised Mayweather didn't say Canelo is his #1 considering what that would do for Floyd's resume.

Bud was getting outboxed in his last fight. He was also dropped.

He's not P4P number 1. Mayweather need to be there for his daughter instead of another man.

Yeah. That is why he has called Spence out for the last 24+ months. Either you lie or you are just boxing ignorant

If Bud beats both Spence and Pacquiao then I will recognize him as No.1 Best Fighter P4P.

Loma and Crawford need to fight somebody. Their time is running short.

Porter is a hell of a lot better than Egis Kavaliauskas who gave Crawford a bit of an embarrassing evening. Spence and Crawford are two of my favorite fighters, but objectively speaking, they both struggled with opponents they were favored to work, except Porter has fought numerous world-class elites to stand-stills or won against them while the last time Kavaliauskas fought an elite world-class fighter was........ Before Crawford, never, but maybe in the am's in the Olympics if you are reaching?

I think Porter would be an even worse matchup for Crawford than he was Spence. Porter is just as strong if nit stronger, has very fast feet and is very adept at closing the distance and mauling inside. He's not just going to be sitting back or standing still letting Crawford put his hands on him. He's going to be blitzing forward wreaking havoc, and where the fight will probably be fought does not favor Crawford's typical reach advantage.

If Egis can drop Crawford and rock him a couple more times, then Spence can one-hit-quit him. Spence's strengths and attributes are usually very subtle and go unnoticed, and he has unquestionably fought the tougher competition. It's easy to look way more skilled than everyone else when you have fought weak opposition who is also significantly smaller than you for your entire career.

The fight against EK, Bud didn't just get caught with a lucky shot, or mauled, he got an absolute boxing lesson and broken down for the first 3-4 rounds. Bud didn't even gain control by outboxing EK, he couldnt everytime he tried, he literally walked him down face first sticking his arm out to control him. If EK can but him in such dire straits where the only way to turn the tables was to flat out abandon boxing and straight up streetfight, then I actually think Spence is the more skilled of the two regardless of switch hitting and useless stuff like that, and if EK can land and rock and drop Crawford like that, Spence will plank him. 100%.
