Fantasy H2H matchups are pointless, but for some reason I still get annoyed when I see Marciano's heart or Liston's intimidation being played as some sort of magic trump card against every damn modern great they're put up against to overcome all the other shortcomings
Iron Mike Tyson could have won the Heavyweight title at 18. Prime Lennox Lewis is the best Heavyweight H2H in history. Marvin Hagler beat Leonard. Tyson Fury is overrated. Wilder IS NOT the hardest puncher in Heavyweight boxing history. Andre Dirrel DID NOT beat Carl Froch. Even though I ****ing hate Andre Ward, he schools GGG in embarrassing fashion. Joe Calzaghe is the best British fighter of the past 50 years. An American Heavyweight will never be the unified, undisputed, lineal champion from this point, until my final day. Naseem Hamed never trained properly for Barrera fight and would KO him if fully motivated and not drained from making weight. Nigel Benn beat the count legally against Mclellan in the first round.
Haha I always thought the same thing! Like man, this guy must’ve bet his life savings or something lol Feel kind of bad for him if he did tbh
The MOD “The Professor “ will hug you out of herrrrrrr for about a week so it has to be him who booted you
I got banned for asking what CHANNEL a fight was on. Like that's piracy or something. Seriously dumb stuff. I refuted it but whoever the mod was insisted in his stupidity.
I did a similar same thing once and got a warning . I got a week paid off once because I said my stream was on and off ...Called hinting for a stream but I was not
That's backwards. "Tokyo Douglas" is the guy who beat "prime" Tyson. The truth is that Buster Douglas, at his best, wasn't much different from Carl Williams and that Tyson was at his worst in Japan and wouldn't fall to that level again until he fought Botha.
Oh, c'mon now. Your mom dying gives you super powers? Never before or since have I heard that narrative peddled. You could say Tyson lost discipline or he was too volatile a personality, but the man was 23 years old. It's less of a fluke and more of a consistent character trait he showed throughout his career at that point. I don't understand why we need some supernatural explanation. Douglas was a pretty good fighter. Would've had a title if he didn't gas versus Tucker. Beat a young pre-cracked McCall. Beat Berbick. Beat Page. That's a far cry from being Jim Braddock. He had a beautiful jab, quick feet, fast hands. Withstood Tyson's power, mitigated that power when he could, and took him deep. Pretty typical to his other losses. People bring this fight up and dive into butterfly effect and multiverse theory.
