Stylistically Margarito would of destroyed Mayweather makes so much sense he did not fight him

Margo is too slow with no jab no timing and no defense he lacks the skill in order to make up for the lack of speed. He's too slow for pbf who wouldnt lose a second to his plodding ass as he hits him at will beating hin to the punch or countering him and gone all night long. People like you expose yourself for your lack of knowledge about boxing it doesn't matter if pbfs power does nothing to him. Skills is what you need and skills is what pbf has they win boxing matches not being able to walk through shots and not land anything.


Pbf holds an extreme advantage in speed reflexes and skill in this fight he doesn't fade has atg defense and has a good chin. He also has perfected the art of having his opponent fight his fight and the art of winning rounds. You act as if pbf is going to stand in front of him not move and allow margo to tee off on him until he folds that's your whole argument. It's ****ing ridiculous. Better fighters than margo had hell landing on pbf consistently fool. Yet a mummy with slow hands and no skill will? Your wishful thinking and hate filled post is embarrassing honestly. People who compare Margarito to Castillo or Maidana always leave out that both them guys are more accomplished and proven than Tony

 

What? Margarito fought Sergio Martinez, Cotto, Williams, Mosley, and Pac while Maidana went life and death with guys like Josesito, Soto-Karass...

 

Not to mention jlc was arguably the best lw of the era hes much better than Margo and pbf was 37 past his prime when he fought maidana. Lastly pbf went 4-0 against those guys.

 

Maidana was almost KO'd by Khan in the first round, badly hurt by Broner in the 12th, went life and death with Victor Ortiz, Soto-Karass, and Josesito Lopez, and was sonned and shut out by Devon Alexander.

Maidana gave Floyd absolute hell and some people had him beating Floyd in the first match.

AND THAT'S WITHOUT HIS REGULAR PREFERRED GLOVES.

 

Margo lost to rodney jones ffs and never beat anyone of note without his wraps he wasn't good he was a cheating pos bum.

 

People with agendas had him beating pbf in the 1st fight. Pbf was cut early in that fight which bothered him once he recovered Maidana did nothing the second half of that fight and in the rematch pbf schooled him. Maidana was a better fighter under garcia, he did wonders for him. Lastly maidana fought an old pbf he didnt fight a prime one.

 

People are always going to say that Margarito is a nightmare for Mayweather because he's a pressure fighter. And his stamina was incredible. He would never ever, ever get tired. And his chin was iron. Unbelievable chin.

 

So.... did they knockout undefeated Sergio Martinez or Miguel Cotto?

 

You really think that Mosley or DLH or Pac would struggle against JLC? They all stop JLC with ease. JLC is a good fighter, but his kryptonite is power. He can't handle power and all 3 of those guys have a lot of it.

 

Not all pressure fighters are the same. Margo was uneducated as a pressure fighter. He had no jab had no defense no subtle head movement he simply came forward willing to eat shots looking to wear people down, he had no skills. That kind of uneducated pressure is ineffective against pbf he loves that type because it gives him plenty of opportunities to counter and make his opponents miss. Pbf also has great stamina so margo having great stamina is irrelevant.


What people dont understand is that pbf is a stylistic nightmare for margo. a guy who wont stand in front of him and trade and allow him to get off. He will use his superior skill reflexes and speed to outbox him fighting his fight to a ud win.
