Would morales stay disciplined versus marquez? Can you recommend me some of Erik's fights where he wasn't gung ho and boxed to a game plan.... I have seen a fair few of his fights but can't remember any occasion I remember him not going at people like a bull.. Even in his pacquaio win... Maybe the 2nd barrera fight?

Pacquiao I and Barrera II. Basically only when he respected the opponent. He didn't respect Barrera in the first fight so he slugged. After Barrera kicked his ass he gained Morales' respect so in the rematch Morales boxed and moved and won, but got robbed. So in the 3rd fight he slugged again because he lost respect for Barrera.

He had so much respect for Pac. He basically boxed disciplined the whole fight except for the 12th round.

Think it's a tragedy that marquez n morales didn't fight at feather... I'd have loved to see it... Can see it similar to marquez and barrera.. Highly technical chess match with moments where it would devolve into warfare.... I'll back my horse in the race still but you could be very right

Against Junior Jones too, who won against MAB twice.

I've got a busy day ahead of me today, so I'll be back later tonight or preferably tomorrow to pick your points apart.

I will say this much though, we don't have a whole lot to discuss as far as back and forth if you're of the illusion that Morales is faster handed than Marquez. That's like saying Roberto Duran is faster than Sugar Ray Leonard which is just laughable.
Marquez is much faster handed than Morales, its not even close.

"On the other hand, Morales is the opposite, he has a punch that is criminal.. every time he hits you it's like heaven moved you.''

He also gave hell to a prime Danny Garcia broke his nose, Barrera would've been easily knocked out by both imo.

One dimensional pac? Pacquiao was a beast and at his best in the lower weight divisions.

Morales was the most physically gifted of the three

Barrera most technical though IMO. His combinations in the pocket were some of the artistic and amazing that I have ever seen.

He was raw and unrefined. A work in progress.

……..and yet it was Juan Manuel Marquez' punches that had MAB teeter tottering around the ring and nearly ready to go.
Not once did Morales as much as wobble MAB.
I'm sure Morales was a murderous puncher at 122 lbs, but you best believe that he's going to tell it and exaggerate it to benefit his own legacy. The more MAB hypes Morales, the more it makes himself look good because officially he beat Morales 2 out of 3.

MAB is likely to say that Morales hits harder than Junior Jones, yet it was Jones who repeatedly hurt him and KHTFO.
