Then why isn't the title of your post "Fury and Joshua should vacate their titles?"

Why should Fury vacate his but Joshua should hold onto his?

The only thing I got out of your long post is you ARE NOT confident Fury wins the third fight with Wilder. But you think Joshua will beat Pulev.

Sorry, but Wilder is going to fight Fury again in October. And Fury's going to have to avoid getting stopped. Good luck with that.

    1. You can't give a belt to a specific boxer.
    2. Titles mean everything to the fighters.

Lewis/Tyson was cross network. Fury/Wilder 2 was cross network. If both fighters really wanted it, they'd work something out.

Well Fury might have a hard time convincing Wilder 'he's giving it back' considering Wilder still doesn't see Fury as the champion.

Or he could simply refuse to pay the sanctioning fees for any of their titles so they're not even on the line for him. It'd be funny for them all to have a champion we've just seen lose.

A lot of us on this site were saying, immediately after Fury's win over Wilder, that Fury should kick the rematch. No one is interested. I'm sure even the promoters don't want it. They stand to lose a packet.
If Fury relinquishes then Sulaiman and Haymon will be shown up and their title will be totally marginalised. Quite simply, nobody will care who the WBC Champion is although it will, of course be Wilder by whatever contrivance necessary.

I didn't say cross network fights didn't happen. Fury/Wilder 2 were two companies who do PPVs. DAZN does not. DAZN hasn't collaborated with PBC or Top Rank I don't think. They've paid fighters to come over who weren't exclusive.

    What the hell was that?

You're the guy who started the thread saying Fury should "give" the belt to Wilder. You know fighters can't do that, right?

    And I'm the ****ing idiot?

Everyone in the thread should've just called you a ****ing idiot for starting the thread and left it at that.

    Clown.

Yes. You honestly think someone is not confident that Fury will win the third fight. This makes you a ****ing idiot.

Fury vs Wilder was on DAZN in other countries where PBC has no leverage, It doesn’t matter who,is on PPV the fighters are guaranteed a higher amount on DAZN , PPV is just an excuse for Wilder to not fight AJ.

Fury is tied down to one belt ,is it that hard to get this ? Ha

AJ can drop a belt as well and it could still be for multiple titles, Fury doesn’t need Wilder because an AJ fight even with no WBC belt is huge because they will just use the lineal and ring champion angle .

I got to say I was enjoying reading a balanced discussion in this thread. Then read DoubleChin's post. Thought WTF, who wrote that? Scrolled back to the name, and ...
    Oh right, of course... DoubleChin.

I can't remember having seen such commited counter-propaganda since Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf
