I'm a super fan, yes, but I have him at #4. I firmly believe he beats anyone not named Beterbeiv, Bivol or Gvozdyk right now.

    What say you?

I think Golovkin, hypothetically, smashes him, as he would smash everybody from 154-175 and has proven so over the last decade. Big drama show.

You could make a case for Alvarez or Joe Smith Jr being above him.

I would definitely rank him at number 6 and possibly as high as number 4.

This cabin fever is affecting your judgement. When Golovkin smashed those interviews and said that anybody from 154-175 could get it, he really meant it. You think Johnson would really measure up to the murderers row that Golovkin has fought over the last few years? Steve Rolls would easily be a belt holder at LHW today, or at any time in history.

I'm inclined to agree, but he needs to actually beat someone in the top 10 before I rate him as highly as 4th. I don't just rate on my H2H predictions, he needs some substance on his resume. Right now I think you could make an argument that Kova, Alvarez and the second coming of Pascal are still above him.

Only guys I think that could beat him not named one of the three OP listed are Joe Smith Jr., Joshua BuatsI, Eleider Alvarez, and possibly Zurdo Ramirez. Of those 4, Buatsi is the only one that I might favor over Johnson. Not a definite, but I would firmly favor Johnson over the other 3.

Might I add, I would not count him out against anyone, even the top 3 guys. All it takes is one punch, which he has in spades, and he also has the talent and skill to land it. So I would favor the top 3 over him but would always give Johnson a decent chance to smoke anyone. DUDE. CAN. BANG.

He currently resides at #13 on my official P4P list and at #1 on my most savage hookers one

This is just some savage hooking of the highest order. These hooks are more meaty than the contents of a butcher's cabinet. Proper old school hooker.

CJ's training his son to become a real fighting man now. In that last interview I posted he says his son is mad for watching fights on YT and that he's always watching Beterbiev's fights. Said he caught him at again the other day and that he asked him why he was watching Artur again to which his son replied: ''Because he filled you in, dad''

He turns 35 in August and has only fought a grand total of 19 times since turning over almost a decade ago and only 3 times in the last 3.5 years, not even 8 complete rounds in total, and it'll be close to 4.5 if he doesn't get out again this year :shakehead:

Should have KO’d Beterbiev and let him off the hook, beats him in a rematch. Would love to see him against Gvodzyk and Yarde, tip him to knockout both. Loses to Canelo and Kovalev.

I'm amazed by the number of people on this forum who can't tell when somebody's taking the pi ss. One of the mods here, The Professor I think his name was, alluded to it not so long ago. It's par for the course with forums but not to this extent, which is surprising considering that there are some seemingly intelligent and knowledgeable contributors here.

Glad to see another big fan. Looks like we have similar taste, Serge.

What's your opinion of Marvin Johnson and Ezzard Charles?
