That’s great. Are you a professional author, or do you write as a serious hobby ?
My cousin writes books on Greek history & mythology ( mostly sword & sandals etc ).
He has written about 10 so far, all been published. He gets excellent reviews and somehow works full time, has a wife & 2 kids ! I don’t know how he does it.
Hope your book is well received, and sells well.

Ruben Navarro! Man, he takes me back. Quite the lightweight renaissance that was going on on the west coast at the time. Navarro, Mando Ramos, Sugar Ramos, Jimmy Robertson, Rodolfo Gonzalez, Arturo Lomeli, Chango Carmona, Jimmy Heair, Raul Rojas. Wow!

No, I write a bit here and there but not professional by any stretch. I did graduate with a degree in journalism but I never pursued it as a full-time gig.

I have always liked the French fighters from the early 1990's onward... Laurent Boudiani (sp), Valery Kayumba. Fabrice Tiozzo, Norbert Ekassi ...Julien Lorcy et al....

At either end of the scale I guess. Yuri Arbachakov featured a few times on the old Fight Night International series in the early 90's. He held one of the Flyweight Titles and was enormously strong. Usually in good fights too.
At heavyweight we never hear a word about John L Gardner. Nowhere near World level as Mike Dokes showed but at British and European level a real honest Fighter and great to watch.
