No, Canelo lobby won't reach to Russia (hopefully).

I know that GGG is a Kazakh. I want the 3rd fight in Russia, so that Canelo lobby won't be able to rob GGG again, they are powerful in USA.

 

Alone punchstat is not enough to score the round. You should evaluate the damage of each punch also.
But overall I agree that Golovkin has won.

Only way anyone will be able to best Canelo will be by a KO, which ain't happening. No one will "beat" Canelo on the score cards. Specially not now that he is the face of boxing. When Canelo was probably the third most popular active boxer, he was able to steal one score card against the face of boxing at that time, Mayweather. Now? Only a KO will be needed for anyone to beat him.

 

Clean, effective power punches count for much more than timid jabs that do zero damage. Golovkin looked like he crawled out of a plane wreckage after that fight, 8-4 Canelo easy fight to score.

And yes, I had it 7-5 Canelo. I can see how others had it for Golovkin as it was stupid close. (In my eyes at least).

 

What else can Canelo fans say.

 

No ATG would allow himself get robbed twice by the same man.

Golovkin had to make the adjustments and attack Canelo relentlessly from round one which was the strategy everybody expected him to deliver.

He had to approach the rematch like a man who would not be denied , like Fury in the Wilder rematch , but on the night he just didn't have the bottle and fought exactly the same fight as he did first time.

 

GGG was robbed going forward, so he fought going backwards in the rematch.

 

It means GGG won, because he landed more powerful punches than Canelo did. You can't judge a match by looking at fighters' post-fight faces, everybody has different skin, bone etc structure, some has thinner skin.

 

Punches landed means your opponent had an inferior defense if you landed more, right?

 

I feel he won because he showed better defense because Canelo was unable to avoid so many jabs but Canelo certainly landed a lot of power shots.
