Dude, I posted the fights that best show that Wilder really doesn't hit has hard as claimed. And really, grow up.

No offense, but I am not going to answer you any further. You are writing very long posts to say nothing. Brevity is the soul of wit.

Wilder clearly punches a fair bit harder

Furys got underated power, he appears to rarely be in the position or stance to translate it

Again, the debate isn't who is better. My argument is with fools trying to act like Wlad was a prime fighter when he fought Fury. He wasn't. The only people that will argue diffrent, are Fury fan boys trying to pump up their hero. Critisizing Wilder will not change the fact that Wlad was old and past it. Throw in the skills of Fury and Wlad was exposed as an old man that couldn't pull the trigger. AJ was a lumbering plodder that went to war with an old man and nearly made it through. It wasn't the exceptional skills of Wlad that made the AJ fight close, it was the lack of skill AJ possessed. Don't believe me, watch the Ruiz/AJ fight.

This. Wladmir couldn't pull the trigger and threw a surprisingly low number of punches even by old boxer standards. He was gunshy. It's as obvious as Wilder's punching power, which I'm shocked that anyone with a sliver of boxing knowledge would claim is a myth.

Fury's only noteworthy stoppages are Cunningham, chisora, and wilder. Cunningham was nailed by a cheap shot from while his vision was blurred. The last 2 were on their feet when the stoppage occurred. He doesn't have any brutal, 1 punch KO's or having someone down for the count. He's an a accumulative puncher. If he hit in the same ballpark he'd have way more brutal highlight kos even with his cautious style. As for the Wilder stoppage, the ear shot that messed up his equilibrium played a huge role. The fact he couldn't put a dent in wilder in the 1st fight despite outlanding him over 12 rounds tells me all i need to know.

He wasn't really putting anything on those shots though. Fury's a 270lbs man with big bones and a fair bit of speed and technique. If he decides to sit down on a punch it's doing damage. He just prefers to box at range more often than not. The Wilder rematch was an exception.

I can see the appeal of Fury. Big guy that moves well, with good boxing skills. What I don't like is the hypocracy of fans. If Wilder never faced Ortiz, Wilder would be a ducker and Ortiz would be a top heavyweight. These haters are ridiculous. Every top 10 heavyweight throughout history would beat Wilder and ever one of Wilders opponents was a bum. Then they come on here and act like Fury's win over Wlad was something special. Knowing damn well if it was Wilder that beat Wlad, they would call Wlad old and that's the only reason Wilder fought him. SMH

The point is Fury lacks the highlight reel knockouts. It's not like he hasn't had plenty of chances to land on slow poor defense opponents and still failed to drop them despite flush shots. I judge knock out power on the effects the shots have on the opponent regardless of level opposition. Early knockouts (first 4 rounds) are also a clear indicator and Fury's lacking in both. You just don't see his opponents on the ground twitching, on jelly legs, or being counted out.

Im not going to to upgrade Fury to ATG puncher status because of 1 good stoppage (wilder was on his feet at the time of the stoppage and only went down due to poor balance and messed up equilibrium). Anyone who thinks Fury hits as hard as Wilder is a moron and I am not about to debate the issue.

They will deny it but there were literally dozens of threads where people were riding Ortiz nuts and demanding he gets a title shot. Not just this website but boxing discussions all over the internet were all over Ortiz. When he became Joshua's mandatory the excuses started piling up. They completely glossed over Hearn paying Ortiz step aside money. Team Joshua somehow failed to fulfill yheir promises to give Ortiz a shot and no one said a word or criticized Joshua. Ortiz said he wanted to take them to court. None of this is a conspiracy, it would take 30 seconds to google most of it.

Anyway, Ortiz eventually called out wilder and once again, everyone changed their tune and became Ortiz fans once again claiming he'd knock wilder out. There are documented polls on this site and several others. And after Wilder beat him magically everyone refused to give Wilder credit and called Ortiz an old man.

Wilder could knock out fury in 1 round in the rematch and people would probably find excuses. They just don't like him but pretend it's because of his style or out of the ring antics or lack of opposition. But anytime he gets a decent opponent they have to spin the narrative. There were even people giving Gerald Washington a chance but he suddenly became a bum after the loss.

And you don't seem to get that whether he was prime or not, he walked into the ring in Germany the best heavyweight on the planet, and walked out the second best after Fury.

Meanwhile, Wilder's camp was scouring bakeries and schoolhouses looking for guys for Deontay to beat up on.

    Period. That is all.

I disagree on one point. If Wilder ko'd Fury in one they would come up with excuses. They would already have them in abundance the day the fight was announced. Remember. Before Fury came out of retirement? He was saying he could get right off the couch and beat any top heavy. The fan boys were all about that. Then when he fights Wilder, the Fury fan boys come up with, his not in shape, he needs more time etc. Funny when you think about it.

It's just not normal for a human being of Fury's gargantuan dimensions to be this nimble and agile and have reflexes as sharp as this and the scariest part about it is this is the fat still in rehab inactive muscle atrophied shell version of him

From where it's timestamped to about the 6:00 minute mark

I get that he was the man at heavy. Just that he wasn't at his best due to his age. A point you will not admit to. It's really simple. Why can't you back that fact?

Makes it hard to root for a guy when his fanbase is cancerous. I actually enjoy Fury and Pacquiao's fights but many of their fans have the minds of 14 year olds with learning disabilities.

I will say it a third time...

He walked into the ring the best in the world, regardless of whether he was the best Wlad Klitschko. He walked out the second best in the world. It was a great win for Fury.

We can keep going repeating the same things ad infinitum. I will be back later, and tomorrow, and the next day.

Wlad wasn't in his prime when Fury took him to Gypsy Slick school but he was still very formidable, the best HW on the planet, and he hadn't been bested in over a decade.

And like I keep saying you also have to factor in Fury beat him on his turf where everything was stacked against him.

Winning on the road>>winning at home but winning in your opponent's backyard>>>>>>winning at home because there are numerous factors, whether by hook or crook, which combine to make it that much more difficult to do so.

Hell, even just one of said factors can be enough to mean the difference between going home with a W or an L. Case in point. Fury should be 2-0 against Bootleg D and he literally had to go Full Gypsy on him in the rematch and beat the soul out of his body to ensure he didn't get robbed again and even then D's tag-team partner K-Bay was doing his not so subtle best to facilitate D's path to victory and hinder Fury's and had Fury not been in Full Gypsy mode it might have worked.

No S h I t! Everyone knows that Wlad was the man at heavy. I've admitted as much. But he wasn't at his best. He lost his last 2 fights, 1 by ko and retired. You really gonna try denying his decline?
