My guess is the Covid 19 quarantine has been bad for him. No workouts, lots of tacos and beer.
I eat that but I'm not trying to make a comeback.

He was already more than Fury but still I'm guessing he's way plus of 3 bills (22 stone) by now.

Andy Ruiz's career as a professional boxer is over in my opinion. He already had no motivation to even make an effort out of the rematch for millions of dollars. He has far less marketing appeal now, no belts, a fat bank account, and I would be shocked if he was sub 300 lbs right now.

I really was rooting for the guy initially, and hope he does not turn out to be yet another cautionary tale of a boxer whose success led them to a darker place than where they were before that success. He seems to be heading in that direction though.

He will end up completely broke. The writing is on the wall. I can't believe there were people who thought the rematch would go the same. It was clear as day that Ruiz would show up fat and less motivated, while AJ would be the total opposite. Showing up in great shape and fighting a more cautious fight. Some fans don't learn.
