It was not a ko. Walcott was purposely making time to recover and then when he got up this simpleton stopped the fight

I think you're right, never have seen a guy get up so fast at 9, guess he should have gotten up at 8? He used the rope to get up, bounced to his feet and was steady...maybe he couldn't hear the count? When I re watched it, it looks like Walcott's glove is off the canvas and his right hand was off the rope before the ref reached 10.

If you read next day coverage this was considered a major fleecing of the public.

The colourisation of this bout is magical the stoppage is... tastelessly untimely

There seems to be a craze for using free software to "colourise" black and white footage and then uploading that footage to YouTube. Then posting it here.

That's fine; but I don't think we need a new thread for every colourised film.

    Post colourised film here.

I was painstakingly making a post including some facts about the Marciano Walcott second fight that, judging by the comments posters are not aware of and that post was wiped! Thanks a bunch!

He could have continued but he also should have got up before the count of ten. Wether he misheard the count or was just mailing it in who knows but he wasn’t up at ten
