Jones by decision, conn could not break an egg 15 kos in 64 wins (still sure you will have 1 or 2 people here saying that the ko% means nothing and he was the Julian jackson in the lhw division).
Conn was fast but jones was faster with more power..

Conn weighed 135 pounds when he was 17 years old. Jesus.
But yeah it is possible. I weighed 172 at 17 and i was not even close of being fully developed and then at 19 i was 201 pounds.

Louis found Conn easy to hit specifically with hooks, Roy`s money punch but he had a better chin than Roy so would be hard for Roy to stop, but Conn would be easily out-boxed.

Conn was damn good at that weight. I don't know to be honest, Roy would still be faster but the difference wouldn't be nearly as big as he's used to. Interesting fight, there wouldn't be any KDs here!

Conn by stoppage inside 15. Jones isn't bringing anything a veteran fighter in those great yrs hasn't seen. Think he invented speed? Roy fought bums at ltheavy and avoided threats. Conn ran to threats eagerly. Conn shows Roy how to box so royboy NEVER forgets.

I go with the guy who hung with prime Louis rather than the guy who beat a cherry picked John Ruiz. Now if Roy had fought a good fight vs the other Lewis and was stopped in the later rounds, then that would be different.

What does Roy fighting Lennox Lewis have to do with Roy vs Conn? We are talking a Prime Roy, not a mid 30's Roy that had went upto heavy then had to lose several pounds of muscle. Joe Louis is an All Time Great, but he was known to have slow feet and be prone to getting knocked down at times. He was dropped at least 5 times in his career. Roy had fast feet, and blinding hand speed and reflexes. Something Conn had never been in the ring with, unless he was able to spar Sugar Ray Robinson at some time. He is Not stopping a "Prime" Roy Jones. I personally thing Roy wins a UD or stops CONN in the late rounds.
