Current Aust 140 lb Champ Justin Frost has some meanful words
about his time in the Army. JF did Tour of Duties in East Timor and
    Afghanistan.
    '' Once a soldier always a soldier.
April 2009 i enlisted in the Army , from civilian to soldier,
April 2016 i discharged from the Army , from soldier to civilian.
Although i no longer serve our country on the front line , i know
no other way , i've been stripped down , had everything i known
taken away , moulded and reshaped to think, act and feel in
    certain ways.
Death is normal . Pain is common.
    Suffering is inevitable.
I have had my body , mind and spirit put through things i never
thought possible. I have broken , i've been tested. I have suceeded.
I have failed. This is why i trust myself i had the priviledge to share
the experiences along side the men i call brothers. I am proud ''.
Well said JF social distancing will stop me have proper beer Anzac
Day at the local and Two Up but i will still have a drink to salute the
men and women who have served our Nation .
    LEST WE FORGET.

    * The fight between SBW and Barry Hall back on. With the Super League
banned indefinitely and SBW losing a big chunk of his 10 M
contract SBW management is hoping to resume his boxing career.
There is hope the fight will take post Coronavirus in possibly Oct.
With both fighters earning a possible 2 M each for a Trans Tasman clash.
Aust fighters keeping fit in lockdown.

SBW being brutally KOd would be awesome. But he will be coddled in any matchup he has. But hell you never know. Old Botha had him hanging on for dear life and they had to cut the fight short in order for him to not be stopped.

    * Gallen vs Hall split 1.2 M and SBW vs Hall would have NZ PPV and international
audience so the $ 4 M figure quoted before the lockdown is not unrealistic.
    * Darcy Lussick who is team mate of SBW and on 600 K has accepted a challenge
from Nelson Asofu Solomona . The 6 '7 115 kg Melbourne Storm and Kiwi Int prop
enforcer is best remembered for his infamous Bali Night Club brawl last yr.

I hope that Horn doesn't poo his pants and back out when we are back up and running.
Tszyu Jnr means business I wouldn't be surprised if Horn tries pulling out as he was already shook when he demanded a 10 round fight.

Either people are going to be so thirsty for an event like this they will flock to it or post covid economy will seriously slash that figure.

    Im leaning towards the latter.

A lot of casual fans who are needed to make a PPV viable were probably hit pretty hard by this in some way. That $150 for a ticket or $60 for the PPV might be a bit much to ask. Plus a lot of pubs would be hurting and might not want to outlay for it either.

IMO it was already a pretty optimistic figure to begin with.

SBW is crawling back to boxing because he is past it now on the field. I guess he figures he will be able to make easy money in two fights with Hall then Gallen.

I would rather watch that Dales Berry kid fight than any of those rugby league idiots.

Thinking of that bloke coping with these lock down laws is hilarious as he is unstable at the best of times LOL

Would Paul Briggs in his prime at 175 have beaten Danny Green?
I believe he would've stopped Green late in a hell of a fight.

    in his prime?
    a hell of a fight?
green is a bum, with no skill who didn't beat anyone good according to you but you expect him to put on a hell of a fight with a warrior like briggs and to make it to late in the fight?

    talk about hypocritical, pmsl.

You would have to think Briggs from the Adamek fights would get the job done in an excellent stink.

Damn they we're some good fights..watched them both a few times, the 1st more. When i needed a brain cleanse after watching some of those dreadful Chad Dawson fights.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Green was always tough and durable and both guys were big punchers so I think it would be a good fight while it lasted.

Briggs at his best at 175 would have been too much for Grinning Greeny imo.
