You base this on what? Do you have any statistics that back up this contention?

Of course I don't have statistics.

That's from me watching all different levels of boxing for 30 years.

It still obviously happens, but not as often as it did.

If you watch lots of classic fights like I do, you can see the difference.

Right, so it's just your personal opinion.

What if I say, that I don't see the difference - does that make me wrong and less knowledgeable than you?

    You can have that opinion.

It seems pretty clear to me.

I’ve watched lots of top level fights over the last few years, and I’ve seen fighters pass up so many opportunities when guys were open to them.

Of course you’re entitled to your opinion. But it’s very noticeable to me.

We seem to be living in an era where boxing fans are obsessed with sports science etc.

So boxers today are passing up more open opportunities than in the old days?

according to your profile man from Serbia, you are a youngster at just 20 years old! Wow. I wish I could turn back the clock but I’m an old man at 32.

I have a solution to your problem. It seems you love throwback fighters, and today’s crop are a bunch of skirt wearing, boy band wannabes who are pail imitations to the past.

here is my solution that YOU can fix.

Did you know Big punching Earnie Shavers didn’t start professionally until 25!! Don’t rush to get the skipping rope and doing knuckle press ups just yet!

James smith turned pro at 28 and won the heavyweight title! After only 39 amateur fights. Wow.

Or how about the diamond of throwback fighters who started late? Rocky Marciano went pro at 24, after 12 amateur fights. I’m sure going 49-0, money, gold diggers and mafia involvement is all the motivation you need!

so at 20, train 2-4 years amateur, go professional, and I expect to see you reigning over your division using the craft, diet, training, techniques of all the old legends.

and remember, even if you are only 5 foot 10, We all expect you to dominate the heavyweight division like rocky did.

let us know how it goes, all the luck in the world.

    love your biggest fan

    That’s what I’m noticing.

I don’t think it’s as common at all.

look at how they struggled to find someone to replace big baby!

and that was to fight for titles!

Il never understand whyte knocking the career high pay day back if he truly believed he could beat AJ

The only midget who would stand a chance against prime focused Fury is Mike Tyson!
