Canelo vs Cotto

It was much closer than the official had it too. Cotto did excellent in that fight.

Clenelo and his paid judges...

 

I had Canelo winning clearly, but it's almost like history remembers that fight as some domination, which it wasn't.

Cotto easily won 4 rounds, and if you give him the benefit of the doubt, maybe 5 rounds.

 

Great fight. Very overlooked.

For me, this was the turning point of Canelo's defensive skills. He looked sublime out there.

 

Cotto put forth a quality effort against a much younger, fresher Canelo. Solid fight. The eighth round had some fun exchanges.

 

This was the case of a great big fighter vs a great small fighter. And even though cotto was walking thru shots, canelo won on points.

 

Cotto won that fight against Canelo. No doubt about it. Anyone who thought otherwise don't know how to score the fight properly.

 

i remember it being close but 2-3 round decision win for Canelo, but it was a long time ago. Gives me a good excuse to watch it again tonight.

 

Nah man Canelo was the clear winner that night.
