Can you think of a heavyweight better than Luis Ortiz who never won a title?

Tuas resume is far more impressive compared to Ortiz's. Whilst Ortiz has only fought one world champion twice and losing by KO twice, David Tua has gone the distance with 4 opponents that have held heavyweight bouts. Lennox Lewis was his only title shot where he was outboxed but went the distance. Moorer, Rahman and John Ruiz are the other three (but had no belts at the time) and they all fallen victim to Tua. Ibeabuchi, Byrd and those guys I've mentioned, would've either given Ortiz a very tough night or KO'd Ortiz IMO.

I can think of a few but just at this current time I think Whyte has a greater resume and not won a world title

This. Even in the amateurs he was a sucker for right hands and had an average chin at best. As a pro the only puncher he fought was Wilder.

Oh, so I'm guessing the gold medal in the Olympics also avoided him, right? Or any relevant medal in the amateurs in the global scene?

For anybody to avoid Ortiz, Ortiz has to first be an accomplished boxer with titles and awards in the pros and / or the amateurs. Well, tell me what titles and honors Ortiz has won as a boxer, pro or amateur? I'll wait!

Povetkin has won a gold medal in the amateurs and fought another gold medalist in Wladimir Klitschko, who is also one of the longest reigning heavyweight champions ever who owned the division for a decade. Pulev also fought Wladimir Klitschko. Pulev's and Povetkin's best wins are also better than any win Ortiz has in his resume.

So if Ortiz being significantly less accomplished than any of those guys I mentioned, never fought those guys, then the blame goes to Ortiz for avoiding those opponents and not them, because they've proven way more in the sport than Ortiz ever has.

"A guy like Povetkin would get demolished by Luis"

And how exactly did you come to that conclusion?

Luis Ortiz would have won one if he swam over from Cuba when he was 30 not 40.

He is about 45 right now

Lol, no agendas here. Age and PED's was Ortiz's kryptonite. Ortiz was at least 38 years old, some say over 40 when he first fought Wilder. Ortiz has a better fighter many years ago, but Wilder had no interest in fighting a prime Ortiz. The first fight was close, and if Ortiz was a little younger would have finished Wilder.

    Also 65 years old
Can you imagine what he would have done to Wilder if he was still in his 50s?

Norton had great tools and superior skills, but he was vulnerable to guys with power and his chin was, at least, subpar
