If any other fighter put up the exact same performances against Linares, Pedraza or Campbell people would be worshiping them as the next best thing. It says a lot that those performances are poor when people speak about Loma.

No other fighter in and around that weight class came with the reputation/hype that Lomachenko brought... Not to mention the expectations that Lomachenko himself set with his previous performances.

As a Inoue fan, I say Loma. Loma has been giving away size and reach in almost all his fights.

Lomachenko, for me. Forcing four opponents in a row to give up in their title match is just something very rare to be seen even in history of boxing.

And despite of size difference, he still seek to conquer his weight current class. Because, let's be honest, the likes of Santa Cruz, Diaz, Herring or even Berchelt wouldn't want to fight him if he goes down there again.

    Inoue

Canelo, Inoue, Lomachenko take the top 3 P4P cake, pretty clear even in order in my eyes.

Why do people put Inoue over Loma p4p? He was taken into deep waters by an ancient Donaire who has been on the decline for 7-8 years, Loma knocked out and outboxed an elite prime lightweight in Linares with a dislocated shoulder, suffered in the 2nd round.

    Lomachenko for mainly 1 reason.

Lomachenko's win over Walters > any win Inoue has.

Inoue's best win is Donaire, who Lomachenko's victim Nicholas Walters obliterated and stopped inside the distance whilst Donaire was still in his prime. Whereas Inoue needed a decision and had a closer, less impressive win against an older and an inferior version of Donaire who had more mileage.

So if anything, Lomachenko's victim Nicholas Walters > Inoue, much less Lomachenko > Inoue himself. And yeh, I get it, styles make fights and etc. But until they do fight, Walters has to be considered superior to Inoue as far as the best single win is considered in terms of resume.

As far as overall resume is considered, taking into consideration all the opponents both have faced, I can't see anything suggesting Inoue has had greater quality of wins overall than Lomachenko.

    Loma.
However, Inoue's Top 3 Wins are not Hernandez, but Ryoichi Taguchi.
He defended his WBA title 7 times and beat Milan Melindo to become WBA IBF unified champion.

I wouldn't say that Inoue was taken into deep waters as he was never in danger of losing the fight. Give him credit for fighting through a broken orbital from the second round on. Surely it impacted his ability to see/slip punches.

Donaire was also competing at his best weight class and was more determined than ever. Donaire will smoke Oubaali.

Mate... I had Loma beating Salido, regardless... that was his 2nd pro fight, he fought 400 amateur style fights and never encountered such a dirty style and he didn’t know low blows were part of the repertoire in pro boxing and he almost knocked Salido out late in the fight, it was an introduction to the pro game for Loma and if he fought prime Salido now he’d destroy him in 4 rounds.

Linares does have a weak chin but you’d have to be blind to not see his quality and that he is an outstanding talent. Linares maybe won 3 rounds in that fight and dropped Loma for a split second as he got really reckless. Destroying a world class operator with 1 fully working arm is very impressive.

Inoue is an elite talent but if he comes up against someone of real quality and doesn’t knock them out, he could easily lose a decision. The level of talent below 122-126 is just tragic, as the % of male population who are 160-165cm is very low.

At this point Loma is definitely ahead of Inoue. Inoue's signature fight thus far was a washed up Donaire. Even still Donaire gave him a rough night. We gotta see Inoue in there with Guillermo Rigondeaux. That would be a good common opponent to gauge the difference. If that fight happens sooner than later, I'd have Guillermo beating Inoue. On that basis I can say that Loma is much better, until I see more from Inoue.
