You're just saying that he would pummel Buddy Baer because he beat Bert Cooper.

For whatever it is worth, prime Max Baer was a much more dangerous puncher, than old Foreman was.

Old Foreman didn't really stop anybody elite, apart from Moorer himself.

Moorer dropped and outpointed Mike White who was 6'10

I don't think so. Not head to head. Billy Wright is essentially what you get if you teleport Buddy into the future.

Foreman's jab is what essentially softened up Moorer for the stoppage... he had a great power jab. And he threw those rights straight down the pike. Max is nowhere in his league in those regards.

Now, if Moorer stands in front of Max like a mummy all night, that does raise the quotient for his getting tagged. I just don't think Max can take the kind of concise rapid fire combos Mike could deliver in order to last that long.

Buddy Baer was a top contender in his era.

But Max beat Primo Carnera and Max Schmeling. Two top notch wins better than anything that Moorer achieved TBH and even you must admit that!

Buddy Baer beat men who were just as good as Moorer.

Not really. Vander was pretty good, I think. Frans Botha would have been a monster in the 1930's.

Botha wouldn't make it into the top 10 in the 30's. I'd like to see him crack the top 15 back then. The fighters back then were too good.

The only guy who delivered combos like that took his soul.

But Joe Louis was a much heavier hitter than Moorer.
