Have you ever actually watched those fights? Both of them were definitively losing to Vitali before injury/cut, Byrd he massacred in the rematch, LL wanted no part of that rematch. The matchup between Haye and Mock was even, and that's being generous to Haye. Not equal comparisons.
There was nobody you consider atg for him to fight. Liar Lewis ran away and Tyson, Bowe and Holyfield were shot to bits. You want him to beat up these shells? Never once down in a fight and never behind the cards in a fight. Fury would have struggled against him btw. A prime Vitali takes it imo. Haye also ran away btw
Yeah vitali decision. Vitali isan awful match up for haye, throws more punches, good heart, won’t punch out, lovely hands down lean back defence. Possible late tko for vitali depending how defensive Haye boxes. 95/100 vitali (5 times he loses he’s injured)
This was mooted at one stage, iirc. Vitali would have done a better job than Wlad did and didn't have to worry about his chin in engaging Haye. Vitali had the size advantage like Wlad did as well. Vitali's output exerts more pressure on Haye over the course of the bout and he either stops DH later or wins a UD.
It'd look like a slightly faster paced version of the Valuev fight, which I thought Valuev won. So Vitali on points against a ducking, swerving ambush punching Haye. Would probably be a very dull and frustrating looking fight.
