Just entered the top 50 on boxrec southpaw 92% ko ratio (ok against nobodies) what do you guys think? Going places or would lose to the likes of rivas This content is protected
He would probably turn out pretty good if he wasn't so painfully slow in every area. Even if he had generational timing he is still so deficient in speed it wouldn't matter against top opposition.
He looks like a giant mutant Max Golovkin. Be interesting to see how he fares against some better opposition. Right now it's hard to gauge much about him.
Looks like he is on the smaller side at around 6'3, but being a southpaw can give him some advantages.
I like the guy too. He beat Machimana, one of my favorite gatekeepers, and I was following when they made the Smackiki fight that ended up as a blowout. As Eggman noted, he needs a bog fight. Dychko hasn't been up to much, so if they can't find anyone else, they should just renew their amateur rivalry.
Yes, I don't know if his backers have that Kazakh oil money, but they need to move him fast and probably overpay a beatable ranked guy. He's on the slower side, but good technique and footwork, a great lead hook to the body and he seems to be a southpaw with power in both hands, it's not like the top 10 is stacked with guys who look a lot better than him....
if he’s better than caveman Whyte then he’s basically too 5! Hopefully he gets 2 good fights and is in the mix. After this virus hopefully Ortiz retires Chisora retires after Usyk or if he unlikely wins Usyk goes back down Andy ruiz fights a live body Pulev retires Povetkin could beat whyte, if not retire Whyte stops being a victim Wilder could retire there’s scope for a lot of change in 12 months
I've had a look at him. Zhan's ok, he's decent, but looks a little slow, he's over 30 and he's a bit small for today's division. Has he the power? I wouldn't think he'd be a champ, but who knows.
Thanks, I didn't know that. They have him and Jose Larduet under contract, but lost their contract with German public TV after only one event because of really poor ratings, so I don't know if they can get him the fights he needs. Someone like Tom Schwarz would be a good opponent for him, ranked, but really beatable, you get him ranked and you can move him up the ladder at a decent speed.
They actually had another talk with the ZDF and agreed to do second fight night (of course that was right before the corona thing came over us, so it‘s not clear at this stage). Regarding a fight vs. Schwarz: I‘d definitely like to see it but SES outside of the Fury fight have protected Schwarz very carefully. I bet they will avoid any risky fight that doesn‘t benefit them financially.
