    So...
Size has nothing to do with the loss to Foreman, or how good someone is.
    Styles make fights.

I'm 48 yrs old, just shy of 6 foot tall and 215lb. I've only stopped practicing Karate due to the lockdown and have practiced some form of Martial art whether that be Boxing, Kick Boxing, Tetsudo or Karate on and off since the age of 10. Ive sparred 100's of rounds, often with much bigger guys, regularly sparred 1st-6th Dan Karatekas and back in the day when I worked in the pub trade sparred with a number of doormen who were at least the size of today's Heavyweights when I did a bit of Boxing in my early 20's.

Initially I got the absolute bejeezus knocked out of me but, over time you learn to move more use side to side movement, angles and effectively counter those big lumbering hulks. Short guys (Iron Mike Tyson, David Tua, Bert Cooper etc.) have been hanging with the big guys throughout boxing history, Frazier included.

Current heavy weight boxers are very big. Fury is the giant heavyweight boxer who's bigger than the Klitchko brothers. The HW boxers tend to become bigger and taller day by day. The ones who came from the CW division like Usyk will face serious troubles with those giant heavyweights.

Joe Louis was small compared to most CWs nowadays and many of his opponents were even smaller. Billy Conn fought for the HW title at something like 169lbs. Max Baer, who was considered a monster back in the day, was about the same dimensions as someone like Marco Huck. Jack Dempsey was only a shade larger than Sergei Kovalev, and Rocky was of similar dimensions to Beterbiev. Needless to say neither of those guys are remotely close to HW.

You mean Fury. What other world class SHWs are there at the moment?

Wilder doesn't pose problems to any CW worth their salt, and Joshua, well, Joshua remains to be seen, but he's already shown vulnerabilities against shorter fighters throughout his career so it's not a guarantee that a phenom like Usyk wouldn't be able to get to him in some way.

How on earth can one disagree with that statement. On what kind of planet you guys live?
there are plenty of kids today that are bigger then joe frazier with 16.
What is wrong with you people did you ever go to gym or looked into the mirror?

They are FAT for todays athletes. Frazier was smaller then me and i never fought over the light heavyweight limit despite beeing 2 inches taller then him.
And before anybody starts talking about that todays fat hw, keep in mind that that guys like frazier and ali would be rather cruisers or lhw and go compare them to usyk, gassiev briedies, bivol, beterbiev all ripped and cut.

Tyson Fury is the same height as Vitali Klitschko. The former is clearly not his listed height of 6'9''.

    Agree 100%

Frazier is like 18-20% bodyfat if he had an athlete's physique he'd be in the 180s

even putting frazier in a fantasy match with a post 2000s heavyweight is just crazy. The guy is smaller then me and i am just so far away from beeing a heavyweight.

Frazier was squat but fearsome, we saw what Ruiz did with similar traits.

Yeah, but Joe Frazier isn't you. You guy beat the **** outta Muhammad Ali...

I'm sure he could beat the Peter's, Byrd's, Haye's and Valuev's of the 2000s. Possibly Vitali? No hope vs Wlad tho.
