You did all right for your first fight. Fundamentals looked good, you jabbed, kept your feet under you, didn't cross your feet, etc. You looked better trained than a lot of the old time "greats" that are posted on the Classic section. A lot of those guys lunge with their punches, miss and fall off balance, use lead, telegraphed hooks other than jabs, have sloppy footwork, etc.

To be honest, I haven't really seen much of a difference in size from Lennox Lewis's era until now. We had Vitali Klitschko who is about roughly the same height as Fury, dominate with his brother in the previous era. The top guys in this current era are roughly the same size as the top 2 of the last era.

I guess they didnt feel the need to pump rubbish into their systems for boulder shoulders, weird looking biceps and muscles In places which Ive never seen.

8 pack abs were overrated In those days.

well i dont really understand but this forum is so divided in terms of how tall fury is. To me he is taller then wilder by at least an inch could be even taller. He had a very big advantage against wlad that was bigger then when wlad fought wach who was also listed 6‘7.
Wilder is the same size as vitaly and wlad is the same as aj.

The thing is they are actually a little bit taller then lewis. But their are just so ripped and come in with such strong physiques. I mean just look at the picture of wlad i posted or aj or wilder.
Furys shape is horrible thought but the guy is a real behemoth.

The height difference between Wladimir Klitschko and Vitali Klitschko, isn't much, if at all different from the height difference between Tyson Fury and Wladimir Klitschko.

    Compare the images:

    https://starschanges.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Vitali-Klitschko-height-weight-age-6.jpg

So I think Tyson Fury is closer to 6 foot 7 than 6 foot 9 whilst Vitali Klitschko is probably 6 foot 6 and a half.

Lennox Lewis and Riddick Bowe were just a shade under 6 foot 5 I believe.

to be honest i am not the biggest fan of comparison by random picture. we are talking about inches here and factors like shoes, posture, angle and when the person got out of bed can make a change. I personally prefer to just judge by fights, because their you can assume that both have comparable shoes on, got out of bed at more or less the same time and you see them from multiple angles.
Judging by that it always felt like fury is quitt over an inch taller then the rest.

When I was 16 we didn’t even have vhs video recorders, however, I did turn pro as a Rugby Player and go straight into the top team on my 17th Birthday.

Well, I don’t agree but I’ve done both so I understand more about them than someone who’s only done one!

For what it’s worth, joking apart, I agree with Drederick, it takes guts to post a video of your first fight.

https://images.app.goo.gl/dkLKgYu4bkPdFKQ56 this is a picture of fury next to 6ft 7 wach, right next to each other one in boxing shoes the other in trainers, wach looks slightly bigger because of the trainer so I would say they are same height, 6ft 7.
