    Means gay.

    "iron hoof" rhymes with "poof" which is a derogatory term for a gay man. Iron hoof gets shortened to "iron" so if a bloke refers another bloke as an "iron" he is calling him gay

    There was one that always stuck in my head that I loved. It was an early career fight of Dwight Hawkins where he fought a dude named Tomahawk Turner. Just loved that one.

    Yeah a lot of fighters with first names named James have nicknames. Bonecrusher Smith, Buster Douglas, Quick TIllis, Broad Axe, etc.
