Every shot that Marciano ever landed was harder than the shot that Jimmy Young put Foreman down with.

That doesn't mean that Foreman is just going to crumble when Marciano hits him.

Fighters get knocked down by the shots that they don't see coming, and putting a fighter down, does not mean that you are particularly close to knocking him out.

Getting put down by a shot from a lesser puncher that you don't see coming, is no indicator that a shot from a heavier puncher will knock you out.

Quite likely. Unless you believe the guy shook by Ted Lowry, and on the verge of a knockout against a guy who' had 63 wins out of 121 fights is going to "shake off" Foreman's punches as suggested by some.

 

Rosario wasn't a welterweight either. I'm confused. And as soon as Foster lands anything other than a jab on Kovalev, his legs would go. This version of Kovalev has no durability.
