My thoughts too, or something thereabouts. Not outside the top 3.

Aside from Robinson being too low and Moore being too high (both just my humble opinions), that's one of the better top tens I've seen, to be fair. I have the same names, save Benny Leonard and Joe Gans in for Pep and Moore. But have zero problem with Pep; he's my 11, and fluctuates.

I love high ranking of Old Mongoose and Fitz, although I'd have Fitz and Duran higher than Ali probably. I'd strongly consider Benny Leonard and Joe Gans here, but I don't see any reason to disagree with your choices.

Do you have Joe Louis in your top 20?

    That's nice.
How about Mickey Walker? He wasn't the most dominant fighter ever, but in terms of P4P and overcoming size disadvantage he has to be at least in conversation for top 20.

I admire that list. Would definitely have Ray Leonard lower than twelve, but it's a matter of preference I guess.

What do you think about Tommy Ryan? We don't have any footage of him as far as I know, but his accomplishements and record is excellent. Are you familiar enough with him to rate him?

Edit: it's the last question here, I don't want to destroy this thread ;)

I'm expanding a top 100 go a top 150, so I'll have a thread on that whenever I'm happy with it (it'll be a while).

I have Tommy Ryan at #109. I know it's low, but I like résumé, then weight jumping. Tommy may have been an ATG MW and WW champion, but he doesn't have too many top names.

Thanks for reply, I appreciate that. I also like your Tony mention - few fighters surprised me in positive way as much as Canzoneri during watching tapes.

It's an excellent top 10. I genuinely thought you had Charles at no. 1 though.

To be fair, Charles has a case for GOAT.

As much as I love Charles, I can't see it. Langford and Greb just have too much imo.

BTW, Greb will be my choice for GOAT if I had to pick just one fighter.
