Hagler beat better fighters. Hearns and Leonard knocked out light heavyweights. Were four division champs. Griffith didn't knock out light heavyweights. Valdes didn't knock out light heavyweights.

Fully Obel was a super middleweight champ and beat Chong Pal Park, light heavy contender Jerry Celestine and future cruiserweight champ Jeff Lampkin.

Hamsho was a beast and would've been middleweight champion if Hagler hadn't been around. Alan Minter and Vito Antuofermo were as good or better than any middleweights Monzon beat.

People are just trotting out tired arguments. Everyone who was around then knows who was better. And it wasn't Monzon.

He was out-classed by Groves and beaten at 160 by Saunders, Degale was awful in his two prior matches to losing to Eubank and Groves beat a prime DeGale anyway.

Leonard didn`t look vey slick v Lalonde at all, he was being out-jabbed by a very limited light heavy.

Griffith didn't look very slick against any light heavyweights. Neither did Valdes. Because they didn't fight or beat any.

I wouldn't call a world-class professional boxer 'awful'. You have a habit of this.

If you have nothing positive to say about professional boxers and their ability then what are you doing spending your life on a boxing forum

You are being dishonest sir. Napoles was too small. Griffith was itty bitty and featherfisted. Briscoe was tough but never elite. Valdez, also on the small side, brother was killed a week before the fight and it was well known that he wanted the fight cancelled to mourn.

Everyone has there opinion but hagler will always be the man for me.

He wore a cap with WAR on it and meant it.

V hearns, when he got cut he got Jesse Ventura no time to bleed

    Duran

    smashed minters face

    stopped undefeated beast Mugabi

    chin of titanium.

everyone has their favourites I suppose

Wearing a hat with WAR on it is a hard accomplishment to top for any MW.
