    So was Duran.

    But I agree.
So was Vito, so was Monroe.

Anyway, Griffith may not have been a banger, but he was a huge WW, and a very fair MW. He beat damn better MWs than Hearns or any other Hagler win. Wins over Nino, Tiger, Archer, Harris, Wayward, Briscoe ect. are a damn-sight better than most résumés at MW. Certainly better than any Hagler win.
Past prime Briscoe gave prime Hagler all he could handle lmao.
Yeah, that's why I don't include that fight as his best win, I pick the first fight as his best win.

This list is missing Benevenuti too, who'd beat everyone Hagler did himself (yes that includes Hearns, of Barkley can do it so can Nino).

Monzón beat better people than Hagler did. I don't why this hard to get. He also had more defences and is just as good in the ring.

Believe me, I'm not fan of Monzón. I like watching him, and I'm a huge Griffith fan, but I don't like Monzón. I just think he's really underrated.

Dazzling Darren barker could suit the war cap when he’s out his face on the Peruvian beak powder talking nonsense on sky

Seems like a good guy, always had fun fights even if some of them had a slower pace.

    Underappreciated boxer.

    I don't think so personally.
Don't get me wrong, he was a good talented fighter who has a good SMW resume but there are other SMWs even at that time that I think would have beaten him

I’ve got huge respect for Carlos.

I think there’s a few guys who could trouble him and beat him though.

Roy was definitely one of them.

Roy would have been far too fast for him.

Carlos was methodical and slow in comparison.

He didn’t avoid punchers his whole career.

He also fought world class LHW’s, a world class HW and a world class CW.

    Were they not punchers?

    You’re hopeless.

We’re talking about a former MW here and an Olympic JMW.
