I am a collector of fighters tshirts and just got a great tshirt of Leon after the Ali victory. Leon was the original shooting star. Never hurt anyone but himself. The heart of a lion. Will always be 1 of my 5 favorite Heavyweight Champions of the World. Not many fighters can say they ruled the world UNDISPUTED. Leon can.

 

He was a fighter from the moment he was born. He weighed four pounds at birth and was very sickly as a kid which was not a good thing to be living in the neighberhood he came from. His dad was no prize and was not there for he or Michael at all. They still were able to fight there way out of that shitty gheto and become oylmic champions and world champions. That is the coolest thing about this sport. So many guys come from nothing and truly earn their way in the world through boxing. The last thing I read was his cancer is now in his bones and he doesn't have much longer. He should have died back in Januray but fought his way through it like he did everything else.

Pac vs Marquez I, Manny was robbed of a win when one of the judges failed to score one of his knockdowns of Marquez in the first round. That one point would have given him the win.

Charles Williams vs Merqui Sosa. The ref stopped the fight in the 7th round and declared it a draw as both fighters were taking too much punishment. Never saw that happen before or since.
