100%!!! I’m a heavyweight and when I was younger I got to spar with Henry Akinwande and Scott Welch. I was an unused sparring partner at David Haye’s but got to see him up close and was thankful not to be involved after watching him pound on my mate Pete Stoten (a decent unlicensed fighter). In later years I’ve moved about with Tom Dallas and have felt how hard Daniel Dubois punches.
very impressive pal must be great memories on the Dubois subject he packs a wallop on the television would you say he hits harder then aj ?
yes he did. He was furious at the way he took liberties with Richard towers also, wlad set camp rules for partners, didn’t mean steward was in bed. You could probably google camp rules posters
Sparring partner Adrian Granat, an unbeaten Swede who at 6'8" is just an inch shorter than Fury and two inches taller than Klitschko, put it this way: "Three rounds with Klitschko is like eight or nine with anyone else... If you don’t concentrate every second, you’re going to get punished.” Another, 6'8" Richard Towers from Sheffield, expanded on that: "We earn seriously good money,” he said. "But we earn it. Wladimir likes to land shots and he takes no prisoners. "I came here three years ago and he dropped me. I felt like I had never been in a ring before. "Now I’m better but I have to be very careful. When he throws a punch, nine out of 10 times it lands, and he’s always in position to throw shots. He’s very serious and is looking to hurt opponent”
But Wlad signalled his virtue by defending the honor of old Liz and Elton John. I cannot believe his conduct would ever be less than magnanimous. Scurrilous gossip, I say.
