Can he ? Will he ? Two losses dont end a mans career but sometimes it can if you are on the other side of 34. Wilder is 35 i think. He has great power that has helped him throughout his entire career . can his power save his career in the trilogy . Wilder being only a puncher having no boxing skills and no defense as well as being 35 years old not a spring chicken himself it looks as if he dosent beat fury in the trilogy he goes down hill from there ... Being on the decline already .. Will his power still remain intact ??? Or will it diminish ?
Sure, if he wants to but not likely in the next scheduled fight. There are a lot of people he can beat and for a title. There is often one guy that is just bad for you. You avoid that guy once you find him.
Best chance of him doing so is having a confidence builder rather than take Fury on again But ego and politics wont allow that scenario So its a no from me
Wilder can bounce back and win the rematch, but only if he’s willing to put his ego aside and follow instructions. Breland always gives him the correct instructions for him to make adjustments, but Wilder rarely listens. Wilder was also an idiot to think that bulking up would help him in the clinch with Fury. All Wilder did was make himself slower. Fury on the otherhand followed instructions going into the rematch and his team came up with an excellent game plan to neutralize Wilder’s right hand and mobility.
Losing to Tyson Fury three times will certainly dent his ego. However, Tyson Fury is the best heavyweight operator going, and there's no shame in losing to him three times. Deontay Wilder would still KO or defeat 99% of the division.
Haye is looking for some money now. Team Wilder are probably interested. Wilder vs. Haye with the WBC interim title. What a top notch fight and dangerous rebound opponent for the bronze bomber!
I would like to think so but I don’t know if he can I’d still like to see him take on Joshua eventually I think he can win that fight
Only if he can control his emotions he was gassed out after 2 rounds because he was so nervous pre-fight. This guy looked scared & was pacing around his lockeroom like crazy. All his yes men had to hold his hand and tell him how great he was before Fury ripped his heart out and fed it to him. I don't think you can avoid that shot of adrenaline and pacing heart knowing you are about to fight a caveman who can box. He only did well in the first fight because he had belief in himself and Fury boxed defensively letting him get away with sloppyness. Fury takes him deep and drowns him again. Can he survive more than 7 rounds is the question.
He cant bounce back against Fury, its going to mess him up mentally even more. I think his times up to be honest, there are a few prime and healthy contenders that would've beat him if he was matched right before Fury imo, so really, he might as well take the Fury 3 fight straight away, because if he fights a decent name he might not get to Fury
I don't really believe in a single fight ruining a man bar the ones who became disabled/died afterward. Wilder was always going to be this old and fighting competition who will make him look worse at this stage. If he loses going forward, I presume it would've always happened that way. It's not like he was a better fighter when he was younger anyway.
Nope, not even a punchers chance, once Wilders pushed back his punch was gone, he faded rapidly from the march forward heavy assault by Fury. What he landed bounced off Fury, he was 100% ready second time around
Souls can be taken and broken in one fight imo, confidence can be stripped. Price v Thompson is an example
