Michael Spinks is getting a lot of shouts, but if I remember right in 2011 it came out that Butch Lewis was spending Michael's money as if it were his own. I don't think much came out of the lawsuit filed by Spinks after that. Total shame.
I remember hearing him saying that he and his brothers were making a fortune in property investments even when he was still fighting.
Don't know why I like this anecdote so much but I do. Good old Larry. I'm glad the poster who didn't like him mentioned it because the responses in Larry's defence have all made me like him more. Before I came to this forum, I had Larry pegged as a misery and salty fellow. Glad, over the years. to learn I was wrong. Anecdotes about him invariably reveal a pleasant, affable, genuine man. That's what he dislikes so much about Foreman, isn't it? He considers him phony.
