This is a nightmare for Canelo because he's actually in with a bigger star... hence the judges won't save him.

The Leonard who fought Kalule would hit every freckle on that fraud's face.

I think I’d go with the Leonard who beat Ayub Kalule by decision.

Oscar De La Hoya wins this match up, he walks away with the most money, unless the pandemic is still around. But in all seriousness, I think that Sugar Ray Leonard's speed and boxing ability are the difference in this match, Canelo Alvarez may try to match Leonard in combination punching, but Ray takes it by unanimous decision.

Leonard would tell his good friend Oscar before the fight that he just found them both a top-notch coke connect.

Oscar would instruct the judges to call it fair.

Canelo legs would let him down here. Leonard stays a step ahead of him with his foot speed. Leonard points.

This would be a good fight.

Canelo is a counterpunching beast, but I think Leonard can outbox him.

Canelo in his prime is about 170-180lbs that’s about his only advantage over Ray Leonard… it might be all he needs as he was good “enough”

If it’s at 154 during Leonard’s 79-82 peak, then I pick Leonard with ease. 79-82 SRL is on the short list for best fighters ever captured on film.

A better matchup is SRL of the late 80s at 160, or at a catchweight above 160.

Leonard outboxes any version of Clenelo. Alverez always had cement feet

Leonard. Wins basically every round. Canelo has little to no chance whatsoever
