Right. I didn't see Ali take many shots from either guy. Frazier on the other hand hit Ali almost at will...sans their 2nd fight.

 

If you go back and study the film segment by segment, you will probably find that they did hit him sometimes.

Certainly if you fight a puncher, you have to assume that you will get hit.

If you don't think that you can take their power, then you don't take the fight if you can help it.
