Mike Tyson 2020 wouldn't survive a round with Dave Allen

I'm surprised that people actually care. I couldn't care any less about seeing an ancient Mike Tyson compete again. He was shot to pieces 15 years ago.

 

I still wouldn't count against Tyson in a street fight which you don't need your body to hold up for more than a few minutes max.

 

Speaking of Danny Williams. Why not have that as an exhibition? Danny is still going on and still needs the money, can be booked a "rematch" of sorts.

Tyson is too old now but he might be able to wax this kid. He's a never was or will be.

 

Mike Tyson resembles Uncle Albert from Only Fools and Horses more than a pro boxer these days.

However, given Dave Allen's mental health issues and the beating he took from David Price; it is not beyond the realms of possibility than he could freeze and Mike Tyson could catch him with a big shot early that Allen wouldn't get up from.

I must admit if this were pay per view I would buy it though as I would be very interested to see what happened.

Nevertheless, I reckon if Lennox Lewis came back and fought Dave Allen that would be a more competitive fight as Lewis has lived the life more and would have size, weight and reach advantages to negate the age disadvantage. I would still make Dave Allen favourite but not by much.

Obviously. He's been shot for twenty years, is more than three decades past his prime, lost to a mediocre heavyweight fifteen years ago, and has recently had back surgery.

 

i suppose a single round might just be possible, especially with very defensive tactics.

but win, obviously not, even a pure journeyman, a Phil Williams [the British one] type would swat him aside with ease.

 

Mike was shot in 05 but has a had a good rest since.

 

I agree everyone is sucking off Mike forgetting that he was ko'ed by 2 bums in Mcbride and Williams 15 years ago!
